One of my goals of 2018 was to pick up and learn photography. The motive was to give myself a new hobby, and also supplement my design documentation process with good quality images.

My mother was kind enough to "hand-me-down" her old Nikon D40x... a DSLR model from 2006... I've been using it to learn and practice through 2018 thus far, and will look into getting better equipment when my base skills and technical understanding are "ready"  to level-up . 

 

I dare say I have succeeded in entering the photography game.. I am still a novice of course, with much to learn. 

 

It has become a habit of mine to ride around the city of Long Beach on my bicycle and take candid photos of the things I find beautiful...
